Faith Formation
Cradle Roll: Special mailings throughout the year to our youngest members (birth to age 3) and their families, helping new parents fufill their roles as Christian educators.
Nursery: All children are welcome and encouraged in worship; however, preschool children (birth through age 3) can find care and activities in the Nursery. The Nursery is available during Sunday School, worship services, choir practice and fellowship events.
Education Hour: Classes are held at 9:30 a.m. on Sundays (during the school year) for 3 year-olds through high school age children during the regular school year.
Adult Forum: is held at 9:30 a.m. on Sundays (during the school year) for adults. A variety of topics and workshops are presented for study and discussion by different leaders over the year: Bible Study, ELCA position papers, coping with current social issues as a Christian, etc.
First Communion Class: This instruction is given to 5th graders and anyone older who desires it, and takes place during the Education hour on Sundays.
Confirmation Class: This class is taught by the pastor and is for 7th and 8th graders.
Bible Study: Every Thursday at 11 a.m. in the library, congregation members and friends gather to study the scripture lessons for the coming Sunday.
Vacation Bible School: VBS, held for one week during the summer, is an exciting week for the youth and staff members who gather each day. Coordinated activities and daily newsletter provide Christian learning, fellowship, music and crafts.
Junior & Senior High Youth Groups: An opportunity for the youth to participate in youth gatherings, retreats, confirmation camp, lock-ins, recreation and to assist with the church's activities.
Library: Church members are encouraged to take advantage of the resources provided in our church library.
