Worship & Music
We at St. Paul are richly blessed with meaningful worship coordinated by many people -- sensitive and creative pastoral leadership, a variety of musicians (instrumental and vocal), the choir, the choir director(s), the altar guild, and the assisting ministers -- just to name a few.
Members serve as greeters, ushers, readers, assistant ministers, and coffee makers. Many members' unfailing service to the church continues to enhance our worship life.
Variety of worship styles is provided through alternating the use of The Lutheran Book of Worship,With One Voice, and Now the Feast and Celebration. Other services continue to be explored for possible inclusion in our worship life. Occasionally, musicians are contracted to participate on special occasions and enhance our worship experiences; but also our own professional musicians within the congregation have volunteered their artistic abilities.
Sunday morning worship continues to be energetic and exciting with the numbers of people participating in worship. A special message for young children is provided at most Sunday services.
Choir:Melinda Doyle serves as our Choir Director. The choir rehearses on Wednesday evenings at 7:30 p.m. New participants are invited.
Children's Choir: The choir rehearses on Sunday mornings at 9:30 a.m.
Handbell Choir: The Handbell Choir rehearses on Thursdays at 7:00 p.m. and is directed by Janis Eckermann.
